JOURNEY since 1942 TILL NOW...

Pritam goes back to 1942, when Prahlad Singh Kohli, a businessman from Rawalpindi and his wife got off the train at Dadar in Mumbai. They were hungry and happened to find a spot just outside the station and sat down to eat there. Upon conversing with the owner, they soon happened to take over the space, and the rest, as we know it, is history.

Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan!

They say sometimes that food is the way to a person’s heart. And Kulwant Singh Kohli succeeded in winning people over with his delicious fare at the popular Pritam restaurant in Mumbai. The legacy of the hotelier, who passed away in 2019, has been immortalised with the book Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan! Which consists of written work and narrations by him, based on his experiences on living in the city for seven decades.
